Error Message in Payments>Deposits>Manage in Stripe

  • Hi, when I go to payments>deposits>manage in stripe(link) I get the following message:

    “There was a problem redirecting you to the account dashboard. Please try again.”

    I have already deactivated, deleted and reinstalled the WooPayments plugin (in a private window) and the issue is still there. No Jetpack installed.

    Note: It may have been initially setup using a newly created wordpress.com account instead of an existing one and the new account now deleted. So how do resolve this.

    This could be the reason behind the particular error you are getting.

    Is WooCommerce working fine on this WordPress installation? Are WordPress and WooCommerce connected and are using the same account? It helps avoid account related problems if both are using the same email address.

    Once this part is sorted, next you can look into the issue at hand about WooCommerce Payments. Our recommendation is to remove the existing installation and then install the plugin afresh. This documentation will help you set it up from scratch: https://woocommerce.com/document/payments/

    WordPress and WooCommerce are working fine and, like I stated, I already removed and reinstalled the WooCommerce plugin.

    Not understanding why my WordPress admin email has to be the same as my WooCommerce email and how that has anything to do with my issue as it was working fine before with differing emails and also on my other sites.

    Thanks for letting us know. Earlier you had stated the following:

    Do you have Jetpack installed? If yes, uninstalling it and reinstalling it again may solve the problem.

    If it doesn’t, in order to check your configuration and assist you further, please share a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
