Error message – HTTP ERROR 500 – Website not being displayed

  • Hi there,

    I was developing a wordpress website and all of a sudden the pages were not being displayed and I got an error message:

    This page isn’t working

    (website address) is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500

    Does anyone know how to fix this? And what would be the simplest method as I am a beginner?

  • Probably you broke it. Don’t worry you can revert back it.

    1. Undo your changes.

    2. In case you have backup before editing, you can restore it using FTP/SFTP.
    You can also use cPanel for the same as it does not require dashboard access.
