Error message HELP PLEASE

    I am trying to put a registration form on line. I have followed the exact format of how it says to set up a multiple checkbox But I still keep getting this error message:
    Error: A checkbox field is not configured properly in settings.
    This is what I have as the label field. So someone can check one or more
    Booth Information:, Own Generator;Need Electricity;Need Water

    Does anyone have a solution for this. I even tried putting in the sample code given and still get the same error message.

    I used this same form last year and it worked fine.

  • change the field type to checkbox-multiple

    The problem is because you selected the wrong field type

    I do have it set to Checkbox multiple

    The error showed up right after I did the update to the plugin if that helps any.

    OoPs…sorry, it was the other one that was not set properly. I thought the error message was applying to the Booth information and not the type of set up section. THANK YOU!

    Fixed in 3.1.7.2 so the error message is more descriptive.

    “Error: A checkbox field is not configured properly in settings. If you are trying to use multiple checkbox options, make sure this field type is set to checkbox-multiple instead of just checkbox”
