Error Message from Wordfence

    I keep receiving an error message from Wordfence scan showing

    • Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-admin/pagin.phpType: File

    Not sure what to do with this or how to resolve the issue. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

    Hey @jaxsology,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    If you already know about the listed file, you can click the link to ignore the file until it changes. If you do not know what the file is, it may require some investigation to find out if your host has placed it there, or if it may have been created by your FTP application or server operating system, or if it is malicious.

    We recommend that you make a backup of any files before you delete them.

    Hi WfMark

    Unfortunately, I am not well versed on the inner workings of all of the files associated with my website, so I’m not sure if it is a known file or not. I guess I will have to do more investigating on this problem. I do appreciate your help and response.
