    This plugin worked really well until people started getting an error message when they tried to subscribe (first notified of this on Jan. 30/18).

    I saw there was a new version so updated the plugin. Then we couldn’t log into the site admin so I had to remove the plugin.

    I tried reinstalling it. I could get someone to subscribe, but when I logged out of the admin side of the site, I couldn’t log back in. So I removed the plugin again.

    Any hope?

    We use the free version. Is there a limit on the number of subscribers?

    I have since deleted and reinstalled the plugin. Now subscribers can subscribe, but we can’t login through wp-admin — have to go in via the cpanel, remove the plugin and then log in.

    So frustrating. Such a great plugin for so long.

    This seems to be a very unusual issue.
    Apologies for all the inconvenience.

    Kindly let me know what is the Current PHP Version you are on at present?

    PHP version: 5.6.30

    We had the exact same issue a few months ago after we updated from 3.3.5. Support began to ask our FTP login and password, that we of course declined. Due to the lack of support we definitely uninstalled the plugin and found another one…that works ??

    Thanks for the heads up ruzakuku. I’m giving up too. Did you find a good subscriber plugin replacement?

    Please let me know too, as my current plugin is dying and I am looking for a replacement.

    May I know your exact issue in order to try and help you resolve this asap.

    @ruzakuku

    Apologies for any inconvenience. There are some issues which need a lot of deep investigation as they may have a host-specific issue, some may have a very unusual issue such as php limiting and many more. In these cases, a deep investigation is needed to resolve such issue.

    Are you still facing the issue with our latest plugin update?

    Sorry, I couldn’t wait any longer and had to replace the plugin with another email subscriber.
