Error message for Disclaimer, License Agreement and Privacy Policy

  • Hello plugin developers,
    These is a little mistake in the error messages for accepting disclaimer, license and privacy policy during registration. Indeed, here is the actual message:

    Please accept the Please review the following Disclaimer and click “I Accept” to continue. Thank you..

    This would be the correct message:

    Please review the following Disclaimer and click “I Accept” to continue. Thank you.

    I believe your title is set to ‘Please review the following Disclaimer and click “I Accept” to continue. Thank you.’, the way the error message is displayed is ‘Please accept to *title*’. So as you see, that could introduce redundancy if your title isn’t verbose. Let me know if you have a different experience.

    Yes you’re right, but if I change the title to “following Disclaimer and click “I Accept” to continue. Thank you.”, it display this title above the textarea in my register page ??
    The error message is now correct but the field title isn’t, you know what I mean ?
    Could you update the error message display without prefix, just ‘*title*’ ? Users would be able to write the good sentence matching title and error message.

    I see where you are coming from… I’m not sure what the solution actually is though, with at least a thousand installations active, I’m uncomfortable changing the default message for those sites that have grown accustomed to this structure.
