I set up a site for a client with the site admin email set to go to them. When there is an error on the MailChimp signup it comes to me instead of the client. I couldn’t figure out why the messages were coming to me but the only thing I can figure is that I created the forms so I am the “author” of the forms. You can’t edit the author of the form, so I’m not sure how to fix this. Is there a reason this doesn’t go to the site admin? Is there any way to change this? Thank you!

    Hey @lyeffeth,

You should be able to update this within wordpress,

It it continues to go to you, its because you are the author of the form,

    Thank You – Sam

I don’t see any way to edit the author of a form.

It would have to be the admin.

I am the admin. Still I do not see a way to change the author of the form. Am I missing that setting somewhere? If you have a way of doing it, can you let me know where that is?

I realize the author of the form and the site admin are usually the same, but it would seem to make sense that error messages go to the site admin. Anyone might set up a form (the developer, like in my case) or an intern, but the site admin is generally the person that manages the site day to day and would want to receive error messages to address.

I understand your frustration but the email is triggered by Cf7 and WP and we do not really control this behavior.
