error message during setup

If I recall right, our readme file for here on www.remarpro.com is a bit outdated yet, and that looks like where you likely got that url. The proper current url should be available in your WP admin menu for the Products menu that gets created.

That resolved that issue thank you. I now have my products imported from my shop. Next questions–if I click on my product I am taken to the product post, but can find no place whatsoever where a viewer could click a link and be directed to my Etsy site to purchase. Also on the post page the description summary shows, but the price etc doesn’t show up.

Ideally I would like to display and image and title for each product that when clicked directs the viewer directly to Etsy rather than to the page post.

I read through all the instructions I could find and I understood most (okay some) if it. I am a total newbie so dumb it down for me ??

Are you using any of the shortcodes to help display information regarding the products? According to the readme file, setting a shortcode attribute of external=true makes it link to the etsy product page.

All of the info we import should be being stored as post meta, if you want to have someone programmatically display the content on the single product urls in your site. However, that much takes theme editing which we don’t attempt to handle from the plugin.

Since it’s imported into a post type, all the template hierarchy rules apply for this as well, and you can customize its display for your site.
