    I just installed your plugin but am having some issues with it when trying to add a classified through the shortcode interface. The categories aren’t showing up. Instead I am getting an error message.

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /wp-content/plugins/wpadverts/includes/functions.php on line 969

    As well, I can’t edit the description field. I can’t click into it to add text.

    Hi,
    1. do you have at least one Category created? If not then create it from wp-admin / Classifieds / Categories panel the warning message should not show then.

    2. if the description field does not render then most likely you have some JavaScript error on site, to check it in Chrome click Ctrl + Shift + i, this will open a developer console and will show you an error message which you can copy and paste here.

    Hi. I actually did have 4 categories created. What I had to do is create a test classified ad, have it use all the categories and then set it to expire. Once I did that the error message disappeared.

    The other issue I’m having is with the Description field in the Add classified form. I cannot add anything to it. There is some inline css added to the field set at visbility:hidden. As well the text colour is also set inline to #fff;

    I am not sure about your second issue, can you paste a link to page where you are having this problem so i can test it myself?

    Here you go: https://triathlon-sk.taijiweb.ca/place-your-classified-ad/

    I found a post here that gives me some code to remove the standard editor and use plain text. That works and makes it usable but not ideal

    Hmm i am not sure the Description field at the page you linked to seems to be working fine for me, what browser are you using? and do you have some AdBlock installed in the browser (it might be conflicting with the page)?

    I’m using Chrome. No ad blockers in place. I’ve gotten around it by using a plain text field instead
