    We are getting error messages even after a form has been submitted successfully. The error message, “Sorry something went wrong…”, shows up even after the form has been submitted and is received at the proper email address.

  • Hi @shspivey,

    There could be 2 main reasons that could be triggering this issue.

    1. Recaptcha issue: Please check whether you have enabled Recaptcha for your form in the individual form settings but not set up or enabled Recaptcha in the global re-captcha settings.

    2. Plugin Conflict: Please deactivate all other plugins except Everest Forms and see if the issue still exists. If yes then please let me know. If no then activate one plugin at a time and check to see on which plugin the error shows up.

    let me know if it helps or not and I will get back to you.
    Regards!

    @sharmadpk03,

    I was able to resolve the issue temporarily by disabling Ajax on the Everest forms. Do you have any idea what would cause that issue when Ajax is selected?

    Hi @shspivey,

    Sorry for the delay. I do not have a clear idea on what could have caused the issue because I have not seen your WordPress instance. But I have noted your query and it will be investigated.
    We will update you if we come across this issue again and fix it.

    Regards!

    @sharmadpk03,

    I will post results back when I get time to test this issue for plugin conflicts. I am setting this site up in my local development environment so I can test thoroughly.

    Thanks,
    Scott
