Greetings. My client recently reported to me that her customers who chose the Debit or Credit Card button were unable to process their orders. So I made a very simple test form with only a Paypal field and a $1.00 amount. It appeared to process OK, but I got a post-submission error message on the page, At least one field must be filled out to submit the form.

Any idea what is causing this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @figure2

I hope you are doing well today.

Could you export your form, upload it to google drive or dropbox and share a link in your next reply?

We would like to test that form on our lab site.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hi @figure2,

I hope you are doing well today!

The form seems to have only one field which is PayPal. Payment fields like PayPal or Stripe works like a Submit button.

PayPal itself works but form has no fields, so it doesn’t validate submission. Therefore, you are seeing this error.

If you want to use PayPal payment without any form, you should use some plugin (or embed code) specifically for PayPal button. Otherwise you can add a field like name/email/phone etc. then make it required and submission will go fine as well.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

Thanks. The reason I created the test for was that my client’s customers were getting errors when they used the Debit or Credit Card button on her appointment booking form. I am including a screenshot below. My client tested it and got the same results.

I disabled the Debit or Credit Card but temporarily reactivated it to export that form: https://www.awakenthesoulct.net/examples/forminator-1-test-form-form-export.txt

Her customers can still use a credit card if they choose the Paypal button.

Perhaps you can get to the bottom of why this is happening.

    Hi @figure2,

Not sure whether you intended to send a new form but it still seems to be the old form export which you have shared before.

The reason I created the test for was that my client’s customers were getting errors when they used the?Debit or Credit Card?button

The “At least one field must be filled out to submit the form” error and the error what your client faces both are different.

The “At least one field must be filled out to submit the form” error occurs because there isn’t any field in the form.

I’m not able to replicate the mentioned error, ie:

We weren’t able to add this card. Check all the details are correct and try again or try a different card.

When I test your form in my test server after I add a “Name” field.

Could you please share your clients form export in the next response, so that we could give a closer look?

You can re-share the export as done before. Looking forward to your response, so that we could give a closer look.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi @figure2,

To investigate this issue further, I imported the form to a test website but was unable to replicate the issue. I was able to make payments using a Debit Card without any issues.

The error from the screenshot looks generated from the PayPal end, can you please bring this to the notice of PayPal support and see if they can provide any insights on what could be causing the issue?

    Kind Regards,
