    Hello,
I am getting an error message after submitting a message in my web site’s chat.
WP Plugin SAC: Name and comment required. Please complete all required fields and try again.
I can go back, and hit submit again, and it goes through. I’m using:
    Latest wordpress
    latest SAC
    BuddyPress + BB Press
    Wp Rocket
Any idea what could be going on? More important, how do I fix it? I am good in wp-admin, but scared of code unless it’s a simple copy/paste.
    Link in question is avivamiento-radio.com/chat
Login is required. Site is in Spanish.

It sounds like a possible JavaScript error on the page. If you have a URL, I would be glad to take a look for you.

    Hi, link is https://www.avivamiento-radio.com/chat/
Like I siad, it always fails the first time, and takes me to that error page, but once I hit back in the browser, then it lets me send. I have sac set to only load on this page.
    Thanks,
    Justin

I’m not sure then. I visited this page:

    https://www.avivamiento-radio.com/chat/

But I do not see the SAC form displayed anywhere.

Oh goodness, sorry, forgot to mention that it is hidden for people who are not logged in. I even just set wp rocket not to cache or minify anything, but still getting the same message. Strange.
On the right side you should see nav links, one of which is “acceder” or log in, and the other is “registro,” which is register.
Form shows up just fine when page loads, but when you submit for the first time, it takes you to this error page with the message described previously. When you go back, and hit submit again, it all posts as normal.
Other than wp rocket, what else might be interfering here?
Log in is required, and username is set to chat name, so it makes little sense why it would say both name and message are required, as they are both there.
Do I need to change default user to something other than subscriber for everything to work properly? If so, what would you recommend?

Yeah something is interfering with normal functionality. Best advice is to troubleshoot your theme and plugins. That tutorial explains how, for this issue the sections on “Plugins” and “Themes” is most applicable. Once you go thru and test your other plugins/theme as described in the tutorial, it will tell you which plugin (or theme) is causing issue. Also it is recommended to reset the plugin settings to default while testing, for best results.

Hi @justin171185, just wanted to follow up with this. It’s been awhile with no reply, so I hope the issue is resolved? Or if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know. Thank you.

Hey @justin171185, I hope you got this sorted. Haven’t heard back in awhile, so gonna go ahead and mark this ticket as “resolved” to help keep things organized. Feel free to post again with any further questions or feedback. Thank you.
