Error Message after installing Theme

    I am new to this so I”m sorry if this is a simple question. I installed a theme and it came up with the following:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_settings() (previously declared in /home2/myURL/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geolocation/geolocation.php:550) in /home2/myURL/public_html/wp-content/themes/wordsmith-anvil/functions/anvil-options.php on line 142

    When I go to the website now it shows that fatal error. I can no longer log into my admin account, it either tells me it no longer exists or it brings me back to the fatal error.

    I have tried:

    https://www.myURL.com/wp-admin

    https://www.myURL.com/WPdirectory/wp-admin

    Any help would be wonderful. I”m kind of freaking out. TIA!

    using ftp rename wordsmith-anvil theme to say wordsmith-anvil_hold so that default theme opens looks like the theme has problems.

    Thanks. what folder exactly (or how exactly) do I do this once I’ve logged into the ftp? I am assuming wp-content folder but I’m not sure what file I’m looking to change….

    open wp-content folder and then themes folder in there you will find your theme folder rename that folder

    Thank you so much for your time and effort. I am not sure how to rename a folder. Is there some sort of program I should be using to change ftp or is there a ftp guide for dummies (like me!) because I apparently have no idea what I’m doing. I am trying to do as you are suggesting but when I see the theme folder when I”m logged into the ftp it doesn’t seem to be giving me the option to rename it.
