Are you sure, this error message comes from my plugin?
What detailed steps led to this message?

What post type is it that you’re using? – From a plugin or registered via your child theme?

Thanks for any more info, as that would help me localize a bug if any in my plugin.

Hi David. I see the same error when using Genesis Layout Extras. On the screen Genesis -> Layout Extras, under the Custom Post Types by Child Themes section I see this error:

Warning: call_user_func() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘default’ not found or invalid function name in E:\xampp\htdocs\adamsts\wp-admin\includes\template.php on line 924

I am using the Portfolio Post Type plugin for the custom post type. That might be the problem…not sure. I am going to do some more research to see what I can find.

This will be helpful for me when I will look into the issue.

I will definitely also do reasearch on it, for the meantime it is a “warning”, not an error, that is some difference in PHP — it definitely should not be there, though! ??

Any resolution on this issue?

Experiencing exactly same error as adamsts and though not using the Portfolio Post Type plugin, the child theme contains a manually created portfolio post type.

Was experiencing issues with this portfolio post type and wanted to try this plugin’s Minimum or Executive Archive page for Portfolio post type.
