Error Mesages – plugin doesnt work

Yup, Same problem here..

On selecting the dynamic text field from the generate tag drop down, none of the input fields show in the right pane.

The error message is the same as above, shown at the bottom of the page.

Pls help.

Also, the obfuscate parameter doesnt work…the email address is still shown as plain text (albeit hidden) in the source code.

my current PHP Version 5.3 perhaps this is the reason?

Please note that the plugin still works if you enter the generated tag in the form…
Only the form fields to generate the tag do not show up

i have searched for the error message and the reason seems (really) to be the PHP version…

I was coming here to say the same thing, not working here either.

It’s not working for me, either. WP ver 3.9.1, plugin ver 1.1.0.2. I get a 500 Internal Server Error when trying to edit my contact forms. Disabled “Contact Form 7 – Dynamic Text Extension”, now I can edit my forms.

I read that CF7 has changed it’s internal structure in version 3.9.

Probably CF7 Dynamic Text Extension will have to be adapted accordingly…
I’m no progammer, so sorry, I can’t help…

I’ve patched it and made a version available here that works: https://github.com/marblegravy/contact-form-7-dynamic-text-extension

Hopefully the author can roll this in to the official release, it’s a simple fix that I think is related to PHP more than CF7 changes.

Would like to upgrade CF7 also, but am awaiting an “official” update of CF7 Dynamic Text Extension…

Came here looking for a solution to the error message “Parameter 1 to wpcf7_tg_pane_dynamictext_() expected to be a reference, value given in…” I will try the patch, but would like the plugin author to see this post as well to save others a TON of trouble.
