Hello, Google Webmaster Tools, returns error Markup: microformats.org on some pages: missing author and updated. With, The SEO Framework, I can fix it? I tried adding the code directly in the .htaccess file, but I’m not sure if it works. Thanks so much.

    Hi @filippolabate,

I’m not sure what your question is truly about. But let me dissect:

    1. The SEO Framework does not output Microformats.org markup, it’s becoming redundant
    2. The SEO Framework does output Schema.org markup.
    3. .htaccess is for server manipulation and yields no correlation with structured data
    4. It’s probably a theme issue.
    5. The SEO Framework can’t fix HTML or PHP issues caused by other systems.

I hope this clears things up! If you could send me the URL of your website I could pinpoint the issue ??

Before I was wrong, I entered the code in functions.php theme file ??

    Hi @filippolabate,

It is indeed a theme issue. The SEO Framework only outputs in the header. If you click on the erroneous output, then Google will highlight the line of code.

You should contact the theme author on finding a resolution for this.

    Best of luck! ??
