  • @ecomturbo We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the Yoast SEO plugin, and we’d be more than happy to investigate the matter further for you. If you deactivate, delete and reinstall the latest Yoast SEO version v16.4, the error is expected to fix. Please note that deactivating, or deleting the plugin won’t cause you lost SEO data and settings.

    Let us know the results.

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply we were already on 16.4. However we followed your instructions: deactivate, delete and reinstall the latest Yoast SEO version v16.4

And still the error appears again.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback.

A deprecated notice typically occurs when a site uses an old code that might soon be removed or no longer available. Although this warning notice appears in your PHP error logs, it won’t influence running a website’s functionalities.

That said, there are several Yoast SEO hooks that are no longer used starting with version 14.0. If you’re still using the relevant hooks somewhere on your theme or a custom plugin, you’ll need to update it to use the proper hook that is compatible with the latest version of Yoast SEO.

You can find details about how to update these hooks in the Yoast developer documentation here: Yoast SEO – Deprecated filters and actions.

If you’re not sure which plugin or theme is causing the warning, we recommend doing a conflict check. We ask you to report the problem to the plugin or theme developers to solve the problem.

    Thank you Maybellyne.

I recently installed Yoast on my fresh sites, all having this php error. From what I recall, I installed 15.9.

Hence, I was never ever on 14.0.
