    Hello, how are you?

I have 2 sites that are having problems when configuring the login mask.

For example, I created the mask “/wploginok”, but when I access this URL, the following error appears:

    Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.4.62 (Debian) Server at publiquenaliterare.com.br Port 80

    Both are on different servers.
I have always configured it this way and it worked fine, I didn’t do anything different.

Can you tell me what it could be?
    Thanks!

    Hi @bazzarello,

Sorry to hear about the issue, could you please check and see if you have “Post name” selected under Settings > Permalinks in your WP Dashboard?

However, it looks like the above is a server error and might be more specific with pretty URLs. If the permalinks already have “Post name” and its still an issue, could you also please check with your hosting provider on what might be causing the server error?

Please do let us know what they have to say regarding the issues noticed, so that we could check further.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

Hello, thank you for your feedback.

I disabled the “Empty Headers” item within “User Agent Banning”, reset the permalinks and it started working again. Before, I had tried to just reset the permalinks but it didn’t work.

Does the “Empty Headers” item require special attention in relation to permalinks? Or is this unrelated?

    Hi @bazzarello

Enabling the “Empty Headers” item within “User Agent Banning”, should not cause any issues with the login mask URL.
I suspect another code in your htaccess file was conflict with the defender settings, I don’t have an Apache server that runs on Debian so can’t test it but if possible please share your htaccess code using a third-party free storage site like google drive or drop box to investigate it further.

    Kind Regards
