    I still have to use the manual method as instructed to delete the command line:
    wpmem_set_as_logged_in( $user->ID );
    at file. class-wp-members-user.php

    Sorry about that – when I said “the next update” in that other instance, I fully expected the next update to be the 3.5.0 release (which does include this change). Unfortunately, there was the necessity to release a couple of security patches for existing versions prior to that.

    So the change is in place for 3.5.0 (as it was before), and I do not see anything on the horizon that would negate that being the next release (finally, this time).

    I’ll probably push the beta of 3.5 to the wp.org repo before the end of this month (so by next week), with a target of production release some time in March.

    Addendum – if it wasn’t clearly noted in the previous post, sorry about the mixup. That wasn’t the way the releases were intended to roll out (3.4.9 was unexpected).

    I hope this issue will be resolved completely in the next update. I used wp-member to manage my membership website. This error causes a lot of bad experiences for members because during the login process there is an error (creating 2 sessions in 1 login so cannot log in to an account on 2 devices) and I still think it has been resolved. from previous response.

    Thank you !
