• I have a problem with my error log.

    It keeps rapidly filling up.

After I delete it and recreate the file without anything in it, one visit to any page on the site generates a 1.6mb error file.

I have no idea how to read this log or what it means.

I can open it in text edit and the first few lines say the following:-

[05-Aug-2011 14:42:51] WordPress database error Got a packet bigger than ‘max_allowed_packet’ bytes for query INSERT INTO wp_options (option_name, option_value, autoload) VALUES (‘rewrite_rules’, ‘a:12813:{s:47:\”category/(.+?)/feed/(feed|rdf|rss|rss2|atom)/?$\”;s:52:\”index.php?category_name=$matches[1]&feed=$matches[2]\”;s:42:\”category/(.+?)/(feed|rdf|rss|rss2|atom)/?$\”;s:52:\”index.php?

Have I got a Mysql database problem? If so how do I fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to the whole 1.6mb file if you fancy a look.

I have compressed it to get it to upload.
