This cause force me to delete this file every nearly an hour.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

    Hi,

Apologies for the delay, we have two members of staff that are no longer working for Wordfence.

Can you send me the error log file or files that have the errors please to phil [@] wordfence [dot] com.

Also please send your Wordfence diagnostics report. If you have the latest version of Wordfence installed, go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter phil [@] wordfence [dot] com as the email and you forum user name please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply to this thread to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail.

    Hi,

Thank you for sending the diagnostics report. You are using an old end-of-life version of PHP.

As your server is using Cloudlinux you may be able to switch to PHP version 7 in your hosting control panel.

If you are not sure what to do your hosting provider should be happy to help.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Apologies for the delay in replying as two members of staff left recently so we have been very busy with premium support and the forum.

Please leave the log file intact so that you can email me the error log so that I can see more information. Email the log file to phil [at] wordfence [dot]. I see from your diagnostics report in the “Log Files” section that you have three error log files:

    ~/error_log
    ~/wp-admin/error_log
    ~/wp-content/error_log

One of the log files above is too large to email so depending on which log file the error is being logged to you may need to trim the log file to be able to email it.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

In the wflogs directory please delete the config.php file and all of the config.tmp files.

Loading any page on your site will automatically generate a new config.php file.

Your Wordfence firewall will now be in Learning Mode so please review our instructions for that in the link below:

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for your response, but unfortunately i still did not get it.
As per said my firewall is now turn off and being set to learning mode, thats means is not fully capable to protect my website.

Just want to avoid the same issue after switching firewall back after a week

    Can you please elaborate?

    Kind Regards
    Lucas

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

To clarify it looks like your firewall configuration file became corrupt.

Deleting the config.php file and config.tmp files plus loading any page on your site will automatically regenerate a new config.php file.

This also switches the Firewall Status to Learning Mode if it was previously set to Enabled and Protecting. You can either run through the Learning Mode process again or you can switch the firewall status back to Enabled and Protecting – as long as you know that any normal requests carried out by your theme or any plugins aren’t going to be blocked by the firewall.

    Thanks.
