    Check your quotes. Make sure you are not using smart quotes. Try to re type the quotes out.

    Hi,
    I installed 2.1.10 on the latest wp4.1.1, set up a page and add my video that I created with 3D application. The shortcode is [jwplayer mediaid=”142″].

    I still get that error and it’s not working. Any clue?

    What is the URL of the file from the media library?

    Hi,

    i have wordpress 4.2.2 and i also have the “no playable source problem”

    After sone research i realised that the problem come from the shortcode, wordpress replace the double quote :

    This [jwplayer mediaid= “3636”] by this [jwplayer mediaid= ? 3636 ?]

    I don’t know exactly why… The solution for now is simply don’t don’t use the code and add video like that :

    [jwplayer mediaid= 3636]

    It is working but i’m looking for a better solution…

    Hm, that seems like something odd with your install if the quotes are getting double added.

    > define(“JWP6_USE_CUSTOM_SHORTCODE_FILTER”, false);

    Works. And this is, why developers should do things the designated way instead of “custom”. >>:(

    And why are those settings in a file that gets overwritten on updates, instead of the settings page in wp-admin?

    Are you using the latest version of the plugin? This is a very old work around.

    The latest offered by automatic updates, along with latest wordpress. ??
    … in a multisite setup, in case that matters.

    Hm, do you have an example?
