This is a bug that will be fixed. RTMP streams used in the media manager have issues.

For now, use this in your post:

[jwplayer file=”rtmp://v.jobflo.com:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4″]

That didn’t work, but when I changed the double quotes to single quotes it did. Thanks for your help!

Can you give me the syntax to create a playlist with external media, similar to your workaround for playing a single file?

For a playlist, you would need to create a playlist via XML/RSS – https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1406722-rss-playlist-embed

Then, a sample shortcode would be:

[jwplayer playlist=’https://www.yoursite.com/playlist.xml’%5D

I don’t believe so, but you can try:

listbar.position=’right’

But you should be able to set the listbar position in the plugin admin where you create / edit players.
