The last couple updates of this plugin (since the move to React, I believe?) have started showing the following error on the Log and 404s tabs:

Sorry but something went wrong loading the data - please try again

    Loading chunk 0 failed.

The browser debug console shows the following:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) https://example.com/wp-admin/redirection-compat-bace59f2d78f2fe916a9.js

    Any help much appreciated!

  • I am getting something very similar also. I am using WP Redirections v2.6.5.
From the Redirections Menu, when I click on:
    — Redirects – I can see all of the redirects that have been loaded.
    — Groups – I see a blank gray page where I should see a list of 17 groups.
    — Modules – I see the column headings and column footings, but no entries.
    — Log – I see “Sorry but something went wrong loading the data – please try again
    Loading chunk 0 failed.”
    — 404s – same error message as above
    — Options – I receives this error message, “Failed to load data”
    — Support – looks normal

What needs to be done to correct these errors. I can add new redirects, but they do not work. If I deactivate, and then reactivate, the Redirection plug-in, will the redirects I have entered be retained, or do I need to recreate them.

Any and all help would be appreciated.
    Thanks! -Ken

This turned out to be a browser issue: doesn’t work in Safari, but does in Chrome. Should be fixed in the next release. See here for further discussion: https://github.com/johngodley/redirection/issues/251

Ah! You are correct. Didn’t think to try Chrome. I had only tried it in IE11 and Edge. Thanks for the assist. Looking forward to the next version.

    Thanks!
