Error: invalid_scope

I’m getting the same exact issue when trying to authorize google for my postman plugin.

Figured it out. Follow the “Learn More” link and join the “risky app” group. Mine started working immediately after that.

I was concerned about security, but here is an official doc from Google explaining it a little better:

This works, just make sure to test it, then immediately leave the group.

It works fine now, even when you leave the group.

I tried, but it seems that the “Risky Apps” group no longer exists: Banned Content Warning!

The “Risky Apps” group does still exist. I just joined it. Through that “Learn More” link, it explains that Google is verifying and authorizing API developers in order to protect users. But Google also explains that there are certain cases where this verification and authorization is not necessary. And for that they have the risky apps group.
