ERROR: Invalid verification code.

    Hi there,

    I am trying to log in as usual into my wp admin site that has 2FA enableed and it consistently shows me that the verification cose that I am collecting from the authernificator app is not valid. Have been using this set-up almost 8 months now and nwver had this problem.

    Tried to clear the casche, using other computer etc. but still it shows the same problem.

    Could you please help me to solve this issiue?

    I am sorry to read about your issue. Can you please confirm if you have the Sucuri security plugin installed and if you have the feature to change the WordPress salts enabled?

    Also, if you reset your 2FA configuration, it works again right? If it is what we suspect, this is happening because WP 2fa uses the WordPress sales to encrypt the data in the database. However, since Sucuri is changing the salts then the plugin fails to read the data, thus it cannot verify your code.

    The best way around this is to disable the refreshing of the WordPress sales from the Sucuri plugin. We are currently working on an update of the plugin which creates its own private key, so we avoid this issue.
