ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?

    I have reset my password via the lost your password likn, received the email, used the link supplied to reset my password, been told it has been reset and to log in, tried to log in and been told ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?

    I have done this several times, on different devices, waited an hour in between and still no luck.

    I have not set up my site yet. Have Domain and Hosting via Fasthosts and have used on click install to get wordpress ready on my hosting. It then directed me to admin login where I have become stuck. I have previously had a go with wordpress that is why I have a username already, just forgot the password!

    Please can someone help me…

    Hi, Thanks for your reply.

    I am still not logged on. The MSQL option is too technical for me sorry. Cant do the phpMyAdmin one, tried the ftp one but don’t have a theme yet, cant do the first one as need to be logged on to try that one.

    I have tried the automated emailer again with no luck. It says that the password has reset but then wont let me on. Who can I contact please?

    There is no one you can contact about this. www.remarpro.com distributes and documents the WordPress application but has no connection with any site running that software. Asking us for the login and password to a site is like asking Microsoft to give you the password to your Windows laptop.

    Clear your cache browser… Try reset your pass again using link supplied.
    What do you mean by “Cant do the phpMyAdmin one”? It didnt work too?
