error: invalid ssl certificate

    made the mistake in WP-settings: defining the url as a https://…
    Now I cannot log in to my WP environment any more, I get the message that the connection is not private. The url changes to https:// even if it is not entered in the url-address bar of the browser.

    Can I undo this, for instance by changing any wp file using FTP?
    (I can copy-paste code but do not “read” php so am not fully aware what I am doing).
