ERROR: Invalid product

    Hi, we are trying to renew existing (!!!) variations and create new variations in the same import (existing products).

    The product’s and variation was imported with another import settings like new products and variations.

    So we have 1500 existing variable products, and 1 attribute for variations.

    So we tried a lot of ways, and almost all ways to adjust variation to it’s product and it seems to be ok, but it says: ERROR: Invalid product.

    So what we should do?

    Hey @johnferz,

    Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to add new variations to existing products with an “Existing Items” import. Your options here are:

    • Update the original “New Items” import that created the products with a new file that contains the new variations (and all of the other products/information you want to keep), then re-run the import.
    • Or, put together a file with *only* new variations for existing products, upload it to a “New Items” import, and use the “I’m importing new variations to existing products” option: https://d.pr/i/DoJKHL.
