remove the access token from the widget settings. save.
click “get access token” and see on refresh the token input is filled. save again.

Thank you, I have done that, but I am now getting another error…
ERROR: (#100) Tried accessing nonexisting field (name) on node type (URL)

the url i have put in the Facbook app field is the home page of the site, (www.2cvdejersey.co.uk) Should I have put the url of the page where i want the events to show?

I can’t amend at the moment because i had to submit the app for review or it wouldn’t let me get the access token…

Sorry if it’s easy stuff for you, very new for me and I appreciate the support. Thank you.

maybe a bug on my side but not sure.
can you give me the page you use?

Has there been any update on this issue? I’m getting a very similar bug and am wondering what the fix is. I’ve done all the same steps, and now the bug is: “ERROR: (#100) Tried accessing nonexisting field (start_time) on node type (Page)”

I don’t see this problem. I asked for a page to test it but didn’t get a reply. can I check your page?

Sorry for the delay in replying. I didn’t get a notification of your replying even though I selected that option. . .

Anyway, the page isn’t live yet, but here is the work in progress: https://main.getwigi.com/

You can see the error at the lower right corner of the page (footer). Here is the Facebook page we’re trying to link to: https://www.facebook.com/getWIGI/events

    hi,

from my test i don’t hit the issue. see here:
    https://prntscr.com/ab3mr7

i can see in the code where it might be but not sure why it happens to you.
can you check what is the api version the app you created in fb uses?

    example screenshot from my app:
    https://prntscr.com/ab3n3b

you see my app uses v2.5.

since your site is not live yet would it be possible to get admin access to test modifications? if possible you can email me the details.

if not i can add a test about start_time missing to suppress the error but then I need to decide what to do with the bad event. filter it out? show as future event?..

    Hi,

Here is an image of the issue, just in case you’re having a hard time seeing it on the site. We have set you up with a login so you can access the site as an admin. That info has been sent to your email address as listed on your website. Please reply if you need more material.

    hi,

ok I fixed the problem. the facebook page id can’t be a full link but only the page name or id exactly.
this made the queries failing about fields instead of saying bad page name or id. the error came from facebook query result.

i changed the facebook id and its working fine now.

    Wow, cool, thanks!
