Error Installing License (WF Free)

    I always get this error when I try to activate License.
    I tried several times with always new eMail Adresses.
    I always clicked on the Link in the eMail.

    I also tried copy/past the key from the Mail by hand into the formular.

    The error happens on this domain and also on localhost.

    Hi @klausmeier9, thanks for reaching out.

    It sounds like you’ve been thorough, but have you tried the troubleshooting on the following page already, as sometimes the key may not fully copy or using a different browser between your email client and the site can cause failures: https://www.wordfence.com/help/api-key/#installing-your-free-license-key

    If none of those have helped, are you seeing any permission or communication errors when viewing the Diagnostics page in Wordfence > Tools? If so, you can send us a copy. You can send that to us at wftest @ wordfence . com. Click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
