Error in WPMU : Please update the database of NextGEN Gallery. Click here to pro

this error message appears when a user creates a blog with wpmu ,, i deactivate then activate the plugin back to make the message go away, But it would be much better if there were some real solution to this and also i noticed that it doesn’t happen when the user of my wpmu creates a second blog, but it is there every time with users first blog .

any ideas ?
