• The WP editor was working fine until I upgraded to WP core version 5.2. Now, the content blocks are not working in the editor. I get a “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” error. In the existing posts, all text/blocks have shifted to the left side. Here’s the image that shows how the WordPress editor looks now –

I guess I’ve no other option than to install the Classic editor plugin, but I’d like to avoid adding one more plugin. Any possible solutions?
[P.S. No new plugins or themes were added after the WordPress Core update]

  • Guterbang communicates in javascript with the REST API surely it is a cache problem or that php is limited by something.
Ask your host if there is a cache somewhere?
You need to clear your, hosting cache, CDN, plugins, your browser and check that there is nothing in your cpanel that uses caches or somehow makes all versions of php compatible (usually this also uses a cache)
