Error in uploading images

    I have tried and tried to get an image uploaded with WP 2.3.2.

    I have made wp-content and all of the files and folders within it to 777.

    Still I get the code that “The uploaded file could not be moved to
    /var/www/vhosts/ncsmiths.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.”

    In the bottom left hand corner of the error window there is a number 97.

    I checked and cgi and fastcgi support are installed on my server.

    I hope someone has a though or two.

    I guess I didn’t try hard enough! I found the problem. Had to do with ownership of the folder!
