    Hello,

I am going crazy when I try to upload my blogger file I get this error:
An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.

When I try to search for a template I get this error:
An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.

When I search for a plug in I still get the same error:
An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.

I have tried to change the time out in the class-http.php but it was no help, anybody please?

also I would like to know if its possible to upload the blogger file in any directory so it can be read.

    Thanks.
    Enzo

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply! Very highly appreciated!!!!

I am using Vista Panel with byethost.com (https://panel.byethost.com/) but what concerns me is that initially (1st two days) I didnt have any issue and then all of a sudden it was like that. Do you at least know how to import blogger manually, in what directory I have to upload it? Do I need to change name? Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

To import Blogger posts, you need to use Admin->Tools->Import and chose the Blogger Importer.

Hi, I have tried all those things but they dont work ??

the only real important thing I need is move my blog, but as I told you I have this api request issue and the import tools is not working, is there any way I can upload it via FTP? Cheers.

No. The content from your old blog has to added to your database – not to any file list. As the API error is a server configuration issue, you need to contact your hosts about it.
