    Hi there,

Your plugin seems very great!! However, is it compatible with Buddypress ? I got a bunch of issues when I install the widget :
Server error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
It adds a new line like that every 4s…
I can send you more informations if you need. Moreover, if I can make your plugin working well with my new theme. As it is a Premium Theme, do you have any link for donations ?

    Regards,

    Hi,

thank you! Could you provide some link to your installation of the chat? I’ll try to find cause of the message: “Server error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token <“. I think something is generating additional content in every AJAX response.

Here is a contact to me: kaine38 at interia dot pl

And here is my donation page: https://kaine.pl/projects/wp-plugins/wise-chat-donate

    Thank you!

    Regards

    Hi,

I’ve responded to your e-mail. It seems that other plugin is generating notices that disturb in communication with the server.

    Hi Marcin,

Thanks for the fast reply, I wasn’t home but now that’ll be faster ??

Yep, but as you can see there is only 2 plugins, yours and Buddypress. I’ve tried switching with all the other WordPress themes (from the WP team) and issue is still there.

Moreover, if the the Wise chat plugin is disabled, all the notices will be gone.

Any idea, how to fix this ? ??

Thank you very much for the support here ??

    Hi,

I’ve finally found the problem. In a few days I’m going to release a new version of my plugin and the issue will no longer be present.

The problem shows up only in conjunction with BuddyPress plugin.

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Regards
    Marcin

    Hey Marcin,
I hope you’re doing well! Do you have any date for the update ? No pression! Just for me, as I’ll send my theme this week, I’m wondering if it’s better to wait for the update or not ?? Second question, do you think it’ll be hard to add the user’s thumbnail in the chat ? I guess it’ll be in getRenderedUserName right ?
    Thanks,

    Hi,

the update will be released today. As for thumbnails I am planning the feature in future releases. I’d like to join this functionality with remote login system (like Google or Facebook) and I’d rather do it carefully.

    Thanks
    Marcin
