Error in the queue!

    The plugin is with error! In this part of the queue, files are queued and not converted. Specially the images!

    It’s no use clicking on “Clear All Completed”, “Clear All Queued” or “Clear All”, because nothing happens.

    The queue is not being cleaned.

    Oh, I almost forgot. They are all “thumbnail”, ie “image files” which are automatically generated when uploading a video.

    This looks like a cron problem. Have you made any modifications to WP-Cron?

    Have you set the plugin to automatically encode any video formats or is it only creating thumbnails?

    Did those items get processed correctly and the queue just retains those unnecessary messages, or are they not being processed correctly?

    This problem was not happening before. It happened in this last plugin update.

    The plugin is configured to generate 3 thumbnails for each video uploaded and converted automatically.

    That is, when a video is uploaded, the plugin automatically converts this video to 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p resolutions and formats automatically if the videos are not in good formats for desktop/mobile.

    When doing these automatic conversions at upload time, the plugin is configured to also automatically generate 3 thumbnails for the converted video and that’s what it’s failing to do.

    It converts videos normally, but the thumbnail, when generating, gets stuck on this screen. The plugin is not generating video thumbnails.

    If we go to “tools/Videopack Encoding Queue”, you can see that only the videos are converted perfectly, but the “thumbnails” for the videos are not being generated. They get in line but get stuck.

    Thumbnails are not being automatically generated when the video is uploaded. Only “video conversion” is done, but thumbnails are not generated.

    Look, it’s working again!!! But I had to save all plugin settings again after update.

    So if you are suffering from this issue after the update, just access the plugin “Videopack (formerly Video Embed & Thumbnail Generator)” settings and save all settings again.

    At least for me, it worked that way.
