Error in Sitemap

    Hi Support,

    We have an error in our Sitemap in Google Search Console.
    All the maps are loading correct, EXCEPT the /post-sitemap.xml.

    When we click on the /post-sitemap.xml, GSC say it is a HTTP error. Also:
    “The required tag is missing. Add it and resubmit the sitemap.”

    What can be wrong that we see this error in GSC?

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your sitemap. We have addressed your concerns below:

    General HTTP error
    There’s a handful of causes depending on which sitemap displays the error. Since it’s an individual sitemap, you should follow these steps.

    The required tag is missing. Add it and resubmit the sitemap
    This error appears when the sitemap contains zero items. To solve this, you should create content for the sitemap. However, if you know you have made content you should clear/flush your cache from your website, plugins, theme, server et cetera.
