    Hi
If someone clicks a share icon and then does not click the relevant “publish” button to actually commit to sharing, it still adds to the total share count. I did this to all my social media sites, got a final share count of 5 for one particular image but never actually shared that image because I did not click the final button to commit to sharing.

Is there a way of fixing this?

    Thank you
    Warren

    Hi

Thanks for the feedback, this is currently how Slingpic has been designed to work. As once the sharing dialogue has been opened between the user and the social network the information passed between them is secure, including feedback on whether the share was made or not. So unfortunately we can’t, with absolute certainty, detect whether a share has happened. The number of shares therefore is more of an estimate.
