Hi Merlin,
First of all, many thanks for sharing this awesome tool, this comes handy for
entrepreneurs that wants to provide a reliable buying experience to costa rican customers.

Similarly as the thread started by gsoto23, I’m seeing an error printed out in the front-end, specifically in the Checkout page and at the bottom of the “Thank You” Page after placing an order, this is the error I’m seeing:

Something happened: SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn’t load from ‘https://amistad.correos.go.cr:82/wserPruebas/wsAppCorreos.wsAppCorreos.svc’ : failed to load external entity “https://amistad.correos.go.cr:82/wserPruebas/wsAppCorreos.wsAppCorreos.svc”

When I go to the logs I see this:

And when I go to the Order Admin page at the backend I see this:

Respond Correos de Costa Rica: : (This is in the Order Annotation widget)

pdevs_ccr_shipping_log_response : (This is in the Custom Fields widget)

Any clue on what could be going on? Just to be clear, the Shippign Method in Woocommerce > Shipping works like a charm and no error is printed out while configuring the plugin with the Sanbox Web Service provided by Correos de Costa Rica.

Hi Aldo,

I had the same issue, to solve it was necesary to change the url from this:
https://amistad.correos.go.cr:82/wserPruebas/wsAppCorreos.wsAppCorreos.svc

to this:
https://amistad.correos.go.cr:82/wserPruebas/wsAppCorreos.wsAppCorreos.svc?WSDL

Maybe you can try this.

Hi @marodok thanks for replying back, sandly that didn’t work for me, still the same error. Would you share some extra details on your configuration? Maybe I’m missing something server-side.

Hi @aldobpin, Correos de Costa Rica asked for our server public IP address at some point, it could exist some restriction for the requests or firewall issue related

Hi @marodok Yes, they already whitelisted them and my server has OpenSSL and SOAPClient enabled. I will check if port82 is open or being blocked by a firewall, hopefully that helps.

Hi @aldobpin this is Alain From ParallelDevs.

Try configuring with this URL https://amistadpro.correos.go.cr:88/wserproduccion/wsAppCorreos.wsAppCorreos.svc?singleWsdl

As you can see it is using port 88.

Also Make sure your server is using a Static IP ( not dynamic ) and that Correos de Costa Rica have whitelisted it.

If Static IP is not an option you can buy a very low-cost Droplet on Digital Ocean https://m.do.co/c/35a4b59d23da and set up a PROXY using NGINX proxy_pass configuration.

Then you can set up the proxy information in the Plugin by enabling the proxy configurations.

I hope that works.

Thanks for your inputs. Would you share a good how-to guide to accomplish the Proxy configuration pathway? I have already created an Ubuntu Droplet (thanks for the referral) but not sure how to properly setup what you described above (not a server savvy here). Any additional guidance would be appreciated.

Hi @alarez just as a quick update, I was able to configure the Proxy by using the information provided here and researching some other over the internet. It would be good to include additional steps/references on how to configure the plugin via Proxy, considering some other shop owners may use shared-hosting solutions rather than dedicated/VPC ones. Just my two cents.

Other the that, I think this is a great plugin and brings tons of value to shop owners and customers.
