    each time i tried to send a test email from the WP Mail SMTP plugin, I could following error in the browser:

    504 ERROR
    The request could not be satisfied.

    504 error might only be temporary due to unusually high traffic to the site. Please wait a little while, and then try sending the test email again.

    If the issue still persists, I would recommend contacting your hosting provider support to determine if there are a firewall or other sorts of configuration that is blocking CloudFront’s access to your origin. In case it helps, here’s more details on the error.
