Error in selection normal,cc, bcc

I got an error after the update in this line.
if (empty( $settings[‘mode’]) ) $settings[‘mode’] == ‘normal’
changed it to this and everything worked perfect.
if(!isset($settings[‘mode’])) $settings[‘mode’]=’normal’;
