Error in Plugin

    Hello!
    I was installing the dokan lite plugin directly from the dashboard and after installing when I tried to activate the plugin whole website went offline.

    So I quickly checked the logs and it had the issue as

    PHP Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in public_html/wp-content/plugins/dokan-lite/includes/wc-functions.php on line 399

    Whenever I delete the plugin from wordpress using cpanel I can restore my web and the moment I activate the plugin whole wordpress goes down with error

    Site is not reachable.

    Please help me solve this.

    Hello @blarrow,

    I am sorry for the inconvenience. It seems like your server PHP version is not updated. Please make sure that your server PHP version is 5.6 or later. You can check the PHP version from wp-admin -> WooCommerce -> System Status. If the PHP version is lower than 5.6 then update it and then try to install Dokan plugin again.

    I believe it will solve your problem.
