Error in MultiSite Configuration

Cannot add shortcode (plug-in version 1.7.4) to a sub-web in a multi-site configuration. “There was an error saving your shortcode”

Install in Network Configuration completes, but throws this warning:

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, second array member is not a valid method in /home/sargwebs/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 300

Can you help debug
