The reset password link in the email seems broken, leading to a “Page not found” error. This can occur due to various reasons, such as incorrect website configuration, changes in the site URL, or issues with the email client.

Most of the time, Flushing WordPress permalinks resolve this type of issue. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > Permalinks.
2. Click Save Changes without changing anything.
3. Permalinks and rewrite rules should be flushed.

After flushing permalinks, please reset the password and test it to see if it works. Do let us know how it goes.

Thank you for providing an update.

There could be several reasons for this issue. It might be a plugin conflict, a problem with your email settings, an issue with your site’s .htaccess file, or other causes. I’d recommend running a full conflict test first to identify if it’s a plugin issue. Here are the steps:

1. Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront. If the issue is gone, it indicates that there is a conflict with your current theme.
2. If it’s still having the issue, disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.
3. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing the conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

If you’re not comfortable doing all of this on the live version of your site, you can create a staging environment using WP-STAGING.

If none of the above solutions work, please provide us with the following:

• System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
• Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

The first thing that catches my attention is the actual link you have shared which the user receives within the email, as it isn’t the standard /wp-login.php?action structure.

Can you please share a clear screenshot of the following:

• WooCommerce → Settings →?Advanced → “Page setup” area
• WooCommerce → Settings →?Advanced → “Account endpoints” area
• The email that is generated when requesting a password reset (please redact any information you feel may be sensitive).
• Please reproduce the issue and share a screenshot of the page that is displayed when clicking the password reset link from within the email (please include the URL within the screenshot).

Just to clarify, the format of the password reset link in the email is not the standard?/wp-login.php?action?structure. It is of the click?upn= type of structure.

With a search online, I was able to verify that this is related with click tracking.

While investigating the site’s System Status Report (SSR), I noticed Omnisend for Woocommerce: by Omnisend – 1.13.1 in the list of (deactivated) plugins.

My recommendation is to reach out to their support channel (support forum linked here) regarding this, as they would be in a better position to assist you.
