Error in Login Page and Cookies Problem

  • When I installed and try to log in, I get this error on top of the page:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/pizza33/public_html/wp-config.php:1) in /home/pizza33/public_html/wp-login.php on line 12

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/pizza33/public_html/wp-config.php:1) in /home/pizza33/public_html/wp-login.php on line 24

    The log in box is there but when I try to log in it says:
    ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked.

    I’ve tried in firefox and ie.

    Help would be nice. ??

  • Do a search on “WordPress requires Cookies” – most problems can be solved with some research.

    I’ve done search of te forum and have not found a fix. I’m dead in the water; not getting a good impression of WordPress so far….need help resolving the cookies error when trying to login. Help!

    There are several possible fixes as this error has several possible causes. If you do the search and read thru the data you will see that for some a patch worked, for some there was a problem with white space in their config.php file or other files and others fixed their problem by upgrading to the current version.

    Did you try the patch? Did you look for errors in your files? Did you check for firewall problems? Did you rem out the code that calls for a cookie test?

    There is no way to give you an answer. You will have to try different approaches as it is a local problem not a WordPress problem.
