error in last update to 4.4.3

    Hi! congratulations for the plugin, using it for years! I use it in conjunction with WPAL for Coommerce. Since the last upgrade (from 4.4.2.1 to 4.4.3) a deprecation error appears in my logs every time a new woocommerce order is generated(or, sometimes even rarer, in 80% of the cases). When WPAL is deactivated, the error does not appear anymore in any case. WPAL version is 4.4.3, WPAL for woo 1.5.0, WP 6.1.1, Woocommerce 7.1.1, PHP 8.0. Other plugins not causing any problems, nor themes.
    I think the “culprit” is the last WPAL update to 4.4.3 because if I revert it to 4.4.2.1 everything works perfectly.

    The error that appears in the log is:
    [11-Dec-2022 13:57:50 UTC] PHP Deprecated: ?Function get_global_boolean_setting is obsolete since 4.4.3! Use \WSAL\Helpers\Settings_Helper::get_boolean_option_value() en su lugar. in /xxx/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5383

    We already have a patch for this. Can you please download the patch 20221212-wsal-woocommerce-issue-PHP_Deprecated_Function.zip from our plugins support patches pages?

    This should do the trick. Please keep us updated on this issue.

    thx! the WPAL for woocommerce patched that i’ve downloaded worked like a charm. Do I need to do anything else with the main WPAL plugin? Was it safe to upload the patched WPAL for woo as it is? (it contained additional files/dirs different from the official release i.e. github dirs .gitignore etc.). thanks for always providing a solution!
