General Help → IPTC & EXIF Processing Options:
    /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=mla-settings-menu-documentation&mla_tab=documentation#mla_iptc_exif_mapping

You can define the rules for mapping metadata on the “IPTC/EXIF” tab of the Settings page. You can choose to automatically apply the rules when new media are added to the Library (or not). You can click the “Map IPTC/EXIF metadata” button on the Edit Media/Edit Single Item screen or in the bulk edit area to selectively apply the rules to one or more items.

You can use the “Execute” functions in the tab to apply the rules to one, some or ALL of the items in your library at one time.

The next sentence contradicts the “one, some or ALL” clause:

If you use any of the “Execute” functions, the selected rule(s) will be immediately applied to all of the attachments in your Media Library. THERE IS NO UNDO FOR THESE ACTIONS!

And reality confirms this always applies to ALL items:

    1. Settings → MLA → IPTC & EXIF tab:
    2. In the mapping ruleset overview hover over a specific mapping ruleset, e.g. “ALT Text”, and its actions appear. Click “Execute”.
      OR
    3. In the mapping ruleset overview tick a specific mapping, then in the [ Bulk actions ? ] dropdown select “Execute” and press nearby APPLY button.

Actual: Both for 2 and 3 there is no further question on which items to operate, but it simply operates on all!

Thanks you for alerting me to this error in the MLA Documentation tab. I will change the last, incorrect sentence to this in my next update:

You can use the “Execute” functions in the “IPTC/EXIF” tab to apply one rule, selected rules or all of the rules to ALL of the items in your library at one time.
