• For years, the setup has been the same: Duplicate a past page and put the new page content (including a new header background image) on that duplicated page. Since the update to Elementor Version 3.27, this has been broken. Each time I’ve attempted to replace the header image on an Edit Page interface (in Display Settings > Featured Title Area… as part of the Eduma Theme?), it returns an error at the top of the Edit Page in red: “Updating failed. Could not update the meta value of _elementor_page_settings in database.” I did a work-around the first time back a few weeks ago right after updating to 3.27 — I replaced the site with the day before’s archived backup of the entire site. Worked fine then. I then forgot about the issue, and now had a new page to update its header background image — now, many days later since the first update issue, I’m now onto 3.27.3, and there’s no “working around” the fact that the update has been in place for weeks now.

Please advise. And please don’t give me the canned response of “Deactivate all other Plugins to see if there is a conflict”… this is clearly an issue with the 3.27 update (and beyond) since reverting to the version previous to that cleared the issue up? I don’t see how another Plugin’s conflict with Elementor would affect “Elementor’s page settings in the database” per the error message?

    Thanks in advance.

@imranwealcoder I’m not sure why I’m not seeing your lengthy & informative response in this support thread (above), but your 1st (of 6!) suggestions was just what we needed/wanted: WP Rollback (to E 3.26.5) will suffice for the length of time we will be using the Theme: Eduma, as there are plans in the works to use another theme in the coming months to do a site revamp. Many thanks!
