Error in deleting

  • Hello – I use the latest version of WP on my site and when logged in to the dashboard I can not delete drafts or posts. Whenever I try I always get the same message – Error in Deleting. I try to keep the site updated with the latest version but each time I try to delete I keep getting the same message, any suggestions?

    Permissions good?
    755 for folders and 644 for files

    I’m having the same problem… my question is why would permissions matter? isn’t this a database issue? Could the error be on deleting temp files or cached pages (forgive me for my ignorance, I just started dealing with the backend functionality and haven’t read all of the documentation yet)

    Regarding the 755 and the 644 permissions – they appear to be all set right. Any other suggestions?

    Same problem. I can delete posts one at a time from the page where I would edit the posts, but no batch deletions. The only error message is “Error in deleting…”

    Seems like I am not the only one who is having this problem. I keep updating my WP whenever a new version is available but to date the problem in deleting continues.
